The new craze has seen thousands of women inking their boobs, with many proud owners of the bra-illiant tattoos showing off their work on social media sites such as Instagram. And, although there aren’t any statistics on the number of women with breast tattoos, the trend is really taking off amongst female ink-enthusiasts.

Chest tattoos can be hugely symbolic for some women, with breast tattoos being used more frequently by cancer survivors to cover up mastectomy scars. Post-surgery tattoos are becoming increasingly popular in general, as they represent a great way to cover up scarred tissue.
