Nearly two decades after first reaching the Hot 100 singles charts as one-half of Tenacious D, Jack Black has reached the charts solo.

The 53-year-old singer and actor – who made headlines earlier this month for confirming a 20th Anniversary School of Rock reunion – debuted at 83 on the Hot 100 singles charts for his song Peaches.

The song was released on April 7 through Illumination/Nintendo/Back Lot Music (a subsidiary of Universal Pictures), amassing 5.8 million U.S. streams and 6,000 downloads in its first week, through April 13, via data from Luminate. The song also debuted at #6 on the Digital Song Sales charts, with a music video also released on April 7, directed by Lyrical Lemonade’s Cole Bennett.
