A dangerous driver has been jailed after filming himself racing other cars and hitting breakneck speeds on winding country roads. Justin Dean Jones uploaded multiple clips of his reckless behaviour last summer, clutching his mobile phone in one hand as he sped through the 30mph zone of his hometown of Llanelli, Dyfed, UK. He was seen overtaking vehicles on pedestrian crossings in broad daylight and whizzed past other drivers as fast as 120mph on the A484 Loughor link road. In the videos, filmed between July 2 and July 14, Jones can be seen lowering the camera to the speedometer to boast of his performance to his viewers.
But he was stopped dead in his tracks after Dyfed-Powys Police investigated the clips and charged him with three counts of dangerous driving. Jones, 30, was given a two year sentence and has also been disqualified from driving for five years.
