R&B singer The Weeknd is set to headline Super Bowl LV halftime show in February.
The 30-year-old hitmaker teased fans throughout the week about the big announcement, only to reveal his status as a showstopper on Thursday morning.
Weeknd — who’s real name is Abel Tesfaye — announced he’s ‘performing on the iconic stage’ Feb. 7 in Tampa Bay, Florida at the Raymond James Stadium. The Weeknd released his fourth studio album in March, After Hours, and reportedly broke the record for the most global pre-adds in Apple Music history with more than one million users.
