Last week, this exact thing happened in the northern Italian town of Castelvetrofaucets. After being hit hard by the coronavirus epidemic, the region needed a reason to smile.
On Wednesday, a malfunctioning valve at a local winery caused over 1 000 litres of Lambrusco wine to leak into the water system. It affected about 20 homes and lasted for about 3 hours before the ‘problem’ was fixed.
