Train actually made this remake Nov. 2018 but I only heard it on Sirius today. Sounds just like the original, he even hits the high note. Reminds me of the Weezer remake of “Africa’ where you cant tell the remake from the original. Train announced 2019 tour dates and released their first ever ‘Greatest Hits’ compilation. The last song on the LP is a cover of Wham’s Careless Whisper featuring saxophonist Kenny G. The video for the song is a bit cheesy but so much fun!

There was another remake of ‘Careless Whisper’ in 2007 by alternative rockers Seether. This one did not sound like the original but was a good alternate version.
