While recipe apps have been around for ages (yawn), there’s a new one called PixFood.

According to the PixFood site, “by using advanced photo recognition and complex machine learning, PixFood gives you tailored suggestions on what to cook next.” In a nutshell, you take a photo of any ingredient and through the concept of artificial intelligence (AI), it will learn over time what kind of recipes you personally like. As PixFood’s tech stands now, it’s a step up from just recognizing whether or not something’s a hot dog.
