Kubrick died less than a week after showing what would be his final cut of the film to Warner Bros. No one can say how much he would have kept editing the film. One thing that was changed after his death: bodies in the orgy scene were digitally altered so that the movie could be released with an R (rather than an NC-17) rating.  Authorities believe David Katz, 24, of Baltimore carried out the attack using at least one handgun. Official confirmation of the suspect’s identity was pending as the FBI in Baltimore assisted in the investigation. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s office said Katz was attending the tournament in Florida. EA Sports, the maker of the Madden games, lists a David Katz as a 2017 championship winner.

Now here is something creepy. The gunman, David Katz looks like Mr. Mercedes. Mr. Mercedes is a TV series based on a Stephen King novel. It is about a demented serial killer, Mr. Mercedes, and a detective who makes it his crusade to catch him.
