Footage has emerged of a white boat which was no match for a thunderous wave. The vessel was sailing through Mavericks, a popular surfing spot not far from San Francisco, US, known for its big waves. But the captain of this boat clearly didn’t get the message as the vessel can be seen powering into rough water. A giant wave comes straight at the boat, launching it into the air. And as it comes crashing back to the water, a man is catapulted off from the left into the deep blue. The man’s condition remains unclear. It is not known when the clip was filmed but it went viral after it was uploaded to Reddit yesterday.
