George H.W. Bush was being treated at a Maine hospital this morning for a broken bone in his neck suffered in a fall and was wearing a brace. The former president, 91, was at his family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, Wednesday evening when he fell, his spokesman Jim McGrath said. He added on Twitter that the politician, who he identifies as ’41’, is ‘stable and his injuries were not life threatening. McGrath confirmed he would be staying in the hospital overnight and confined to a neck brace, but was ‘fine’.
