A good Samaritan in the UK was murdered by a 16-year-old boy after trying to do the right thing by walking him home from the pub. Father-to-be Michaelee Emmett, 29, and a friend, tried to drop the boy off with his parents after seeing he was drinking underage. But a court heard the teenager then grabbed a knife from inside the house and began to attack them. Mr Emmett suffered a deep wound to his liver and died a month later in a coma in hospital. The teenager admitted murdering Mr Emmett. The court heard he also admitted taking valium and drinking cider that night. Prosecutor James Wilson said the officer who arrested him said he was unsteady on his feet and smelt of intoxicants but that he believed he was on drugs.
