A women’s rights group in France creates a petition asking for the removal of a sculpture inspired by an iconic World War 2 photo. The group claims the sculpture, called Unconditional Surrender, portrays a sexual assault because it shows a sailor kissing a woman without her consent. But the woman in the famous photograph said in 2012 while she didn’t see the man coming before he grabbed her and kissed her, she never felt assaulted.
