A 9-year-old boy in Canada stole a city bus and went for a joyride ending with a three-vehicle crash. Police is Saskatoon, which is about 200 miles north of the Montana border, said the child stole the bus Friday morning and then caused the accident with another city bus and vehicle. The child also drove over a curb. No injuries were reported, but the scene did cause quite a commotion. Witness Michael Pritchard told The Star the bus was left running with the door open, and he saw the child ride by on his bicycle.
Then, “I looked in my mirror and I saw a little head in the driver’s seat of the bus,” he told the newspaper. He raced to the scene after the accident, the newspaper reported. “I had to pry open the bus doors. I told him to get out of the bus. He got out of the bus and I grabbed him because I didn’t want him to take off,” he said.
