A pair of 80-foot long blue whales capsized a boat off the California coast. Wildlife photographer Dale Frink was snapping away on an expedition to watch the creatures some 12 miles off the San Diego shore Wednesday when tragedy almost struck. “Oh my God,” he is heard screaming as one of the animals jumps out of the water, flipping the 21-foot long boat over. Captain Cici Sayer is also heard crying out in fear as a GoPro camera secured to the craft captures the dinghy starting to sink. Tossed into the water – with Frink narrowly avoiding falling into one of the whales’ open mouth – the pair were luckily rescued by a passing boat.
